We, Taekwondo Association of Thailand and our partners and affiliates ("TKD") respect your privacy and recognize the importance of personal data protection. Therefore, we have established a security system and strict operational measures to protect your personal data to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, use, or alteration of personal data.

This Privacy Policy shall be used for personal data protection for members, users, participants or customers of TKD which you provide personal data through online and offline channel such as website, registration forms, social media ("Platform"), allowing you to register, interact, search for, use or manage athletes, coaches, officials, referees, team members and any other people or organizations relating to Taekwondo and related activities.

Before you use the Platform, please read the terms and conditions and the Privacy Policy for personal data protection. If you do not accept these terms and conditions and Privacy Policy for personal data protection in this website, we would like you to stop using the Platform immediately, and your continuing use of the Platform will indicate your consent to the terms and conditions and Privacy Policy for personal data protection of TKD.

1. Definitions

In this Privacy Policy,
"Personal Data" means any information relating to a person, which enables the identification of such person, whether directly or indirectly, but not including the data of the deceased persons or anonymized data.
"Cookies" means small text file consisting of parts of data from a download activity that may be stored on your computer device or any communication tools that you use to access the web browser while you visit TKD's website. Cookies data may be saved for your convenience and the owner of the website can also store such data, which is considered Personal Data as well.

2. Personal Data Collection

TKD will collect your Personal Data that TKD received whether directly or indirectly which consists of:

• Personal Data such as name, last name, gender, age, nationality, date of birth, marital status, address, occupation, education and certification, place of work, postal code, email address, telephone number, GMS number, emergency contact, and any documents related to such personal data;
• Sensitive data such as race, religion, health information, and etc. In the event that TKD has accidentally received it and has no intention to collect such data, TKD will not use your sensitive data;
• Data on your interests such as products and services, hobbies, social networking activities, sports, travelling;
• Data that specifies your location while using the website. If you enable the GPS system, you consent TKD to collect and process your location information. However, if you would like to conceal this information, you can install programs or turn off GPS on your mobile phone;
• Technical data and information searching behaviour on website where TKD will use Cookies as a tool to collect data such as IP address, type of web browser that is used to access, web pages visited, time spent on visiting, websites that refers to TKD's website;
• Necessary information to be provided to TKD and TKD is entitled to process such Personal Data as stipulated by law without consent such as data to be provided for complying law or performance or execution of a contract or other data as stipulated by law. If you do not give your Personal Data, TKD may not be able to proceed with such action requested by you or as TKD informs you or other consequences pursuant to the applicable law;
• Marketing and communication data;
• Data that is necessary for any lawful interest such as the collection of photos from TKD's activities and etc.; and/or
• Other Personal Data subject to your prior consent.

3. Purposes of Personal Data Collection, Use, or Disclosure

3.1. TKD may collect your Personal Data for the following purposes:

• Communication and provision of various information relating to products and services of TKD, and offer of any projects in which users may be interested, including relating privileges or promotion of the said products or services or any future change concerning the Privacy Policy;
• Preparation of marketing plan and analysis, process, development and improvement of products and services of TKD;
• Transmission of information to any third party or business alliance of TKD in relation to products and/or services of TKD;
• Improvement, creation, analysis, evaluation of website performance, marketing plan, data usage, the performance of service, products and services of TKD;
• ดTaking any legal actions, such as to prevent or cease any loss of life or damage to body or health of a person, for educational study or statistics in order to provide an appropriate measure to protect your rights and freedom;
• Compliance with the laws; and/or
• Other purposes which have been notified at the time of collection of your Personal Data or any other purposes in relation to any of the above purposes.

3.2. TKD will collect your Personal Data only as necessary or for the purpose of collection and in accordance with the law. However, TKD may collect and anonymise any data.

3.3. In case you access to the website or advertisement which are not operated by TKD, the privacy policy on personal data will be governed by the one of that website, for which TKD shall not be held responsible.

4. Method of Personal Data Collection

TKD may collect Personal Data through TKD's channel, e.g. electronic means, documentation, verbally, depending on circumstances etc.; or through channel of TKD's partner / other service providers, e.g. Facebook, Line, etc., for the purpose of creation of your profile or agent.

5. Disclosure of Personal Data

TKD may disclose and transfer Personal Data to person or parties as listed below:

• TKD, business partners, employees, authorized representative personnel of TKD or any employee of relevant companies;
• Agents of TKD who has been authorized to offer and sell TKD's products and services, including agent or person hired by such person;
• Other persons, including agent or person hired by such person who is arranging in connection with TKD's products and services, the conduct of the marketing activities, the offer of TKD's information, the development of TKD's products and services, e.g. payment method, documentation system, technology, delivery of documents, research, etc.; and/or
• Any governmental authority or supervision organization or any person to which TKD is required to disclose such data whether by laws, regulations or order in relation to TKD or pursuant to TKD's agreement with any governmental authority or any other person.

6. Use of Cookies

6.1. TKD utilize Cookies to improve your browsing experience and enhance your satisfaction. Cookies will allow TKD to understand the website usage and make the website more accessible and convenient. Furthermore, Cookies data will be used to develop TKD's website to be more suitable to your needs. Hence, TKD may need to use Cookies for statistical analysis, as well as linking data and process it according to marketing objectives.

6.2. Categories of Cookies
TKD uses or may use various categories of Cookies, divided by the following objectives;

• (1) Necessary Cookies: This type of Cookies is crucial for the functionality of the website, allowing you to access all contents and fully utilize TKD's website;
• (2) Analytical and performance evaluation Cookies: This type of Cookies allow TKD measure performance, through calculating the number of pages you visit, as well as the number and unique characteristics of specific visitor group. This data will be used to analyse behaviour patterns of website visitors, and the results will be used to improve the website to meet visitors' needs and enhance visitor's usage;
• (3) Functional Cookies: This type of Cookies is used to remember your options during website usage, to provide convenience when you re-visit the website.

7. Rights of Data Subject

• 7.1. You have the right to withdraw your consent and TKD will stop the processing of your Personal Data as soon as possible;
• 7.2. You have the right to access and ask for a copy of your Personal Data, or to request disclosure of the acquisition of Personal Data obtained without your consent; unless it is when TKD must comply with the law or court order, or the request of access or to receive a copy of your Personal Data may impact that cause damage to the rights and freedoms of others;
• 7.3. You have the right to request correction and rectification on your Personal Data to ensure that the data is correct, up-to-date, complete, and does not cause any misunderstandings;
• 7.4. You have the right to receive or request TKD to send or transfer your Personal Data to other data controller, or to directly request the Personal Data that TKD disclose or transfer to other data controller; unless it is impossible to do so due to the technical circumstances;
• 7.5. You have the right to request TKD to erase, destroy, or anonymized your Personal Data, in the event that such Personal Data is no longer necessary for the purpose in which it is collected for, or you have withdrawn your consent or objected to the processing of Personal Data for direct marketing purposes and others, or there is unlawful processing, or other scenarios as required by law;
• 7.6. You have the right to restrict the processing of your Personal Data and TKD will stop the processing of Personal Data; however, the Personal Data shall be stored for the following purposes: 1) to establish legal claims or 2) Personal Data is under review for correctness or it is in the process of proving higher legitimate ground. Nonetheless, TKD will only store Personal Data as necessary;
• 7.7. You have the right to object the collection, use, or disclosure of Personal Data for direct marketing, research purposes either in the field of science, history, or statistics; unless it is necessary for public interest, higher legitimate ground, establishment of legal claims, legal compliance, exercise of legal rights, or to defend exercise of legal rights; and
• 7.8. You have the right to file a complaint to relevant government agencies, in the event that you believe TKD, the employee or the contractor of TKD violates or does not comply with The Personal Data Protection Act of Thailand.

8. Exceptions to the Confidentiality of Personal Data

Any of the following actions shall not be deemed an offense to the Privacy Policy:

• 8.1. An action towards the Personal Data that has been disclosed to the public at the time you disclose this information to TKD or that is publicly disclosed which is not the fault of TKD.
• 8.2. Disclosure of the Personal Data with your written consent or permission by any other means.
• 8.3. Disclosure of information as necessary by laws, orders, rules, regulations, court orders, or governmental agency, or other necessities.

9. Personal Data Retention

TKD will retain your Personal Data only for such period of time as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy.

10. Cross Boarder Transfer of Personal Data

Your personal data may be transferred to third party or servers which located internationally. The destination country may or may not have equal data protection standard as Thailand; however, TKD will ensure before the transfer that the personal data is protected with equal and appropriate security measures in accordance with the Thai personal data protection legal requirements and standard. Cross boarder transfer of personal data will be in accordance with lawful basis such as contractual basis, legitimate interest, public tasks, and as you have given your consent for.

11. Security Measures

TKD has taken appropriate measure to ensure physical protection and organizational and technical measurements such as Secure Socket Layer (SSL), 2-factor Authentication, etc., to prevent your Personal Data from loss, misuse, or unauthorized access, disclose, change, and deletion.

In the event that TKD assign external party for system development and maintenance, resources allocation, or any other services, TKD may set for confidentiality and/or data processing agreement in accordance with this Privacy Policy to be made; for the benefit of securing your Personal Data.

TKD has set the process to manage Personal Data breach incident and will notify you in accordance with the law. Nonetheless, even though there is strict security measure for Personal Data, there is a security limitation when it comes to transmission of data on the internet. Hence, TKD is unable to guarantee the security of your Personal Data disclosed on online platform.

12. Minors

TKD has no intention to collect any Personal Data of a minor whose age is less than that stipulated by law ("Age Limit"). If you are younger than that of the Age Limit, please do not use the service of TKD or give any Personal Data to TKD.
In the event that you are a parent of a child whose age is less than the Age Limit and is aware that your child is giving Personal Data to TKD, please contact TKD and you may request to exercise your right instead.
In the even that you are a minor of age that is less than the Age Limit and need to receive services and products of TKD, you are required to have a consent of your parent in place for the provision of your Personal Data.

13. Changes to Privacy Policy

TKD may change or update details of the Privacy Policy in part or in its entirety. If there is a change, TKD will update its Privacy Policy and announce it on TKD's website.
